By single you mean 1 giant diode, I guess I need to research uv options. Extra heat sinking and it’s own fixture might have to do a test to see if it’s worth buying them for all my tablesUvbs: id try too get singles rather than strips, check out nachoooo s poosting history i tthink theyare the most efficient. Seems like you can do just as well white 365nm or even near uva though. 420nm seems also to be a good bet. But dont concentrate them in a strip unless you caan afford to buy enough to get them spread out.
Uvb diodes should be over heatsinked: nice big sinks with no contact with your main lighting so they can be kept as cool as posssible.
Another option would be getting strips custom with 660 + uv on the same strip, maybe 4:6 proportion. But im just guessing
Something like these UVB LEDs are what Rocket Soul is referring to.By single you mean 1 giant diode, I guess I need to research uv options. Extra heat sinking and it’s own fixture might have to do a test to see if it’s worth buying them for all my tables
Pretty sure those are the ones but it might be worth double checking cause i know there was a few with almost identical codes. But 285nm is right, its close to maximum plant response but without too much uvc.Something like these UVB LEDs are what Rocket Soul is referring to.

I believe these are the diodes that @nachooo used for his build.
Yes they were. I bought them star mountedSomething like these UVB LEDs are what Rocket Soul is referring to.
