Reducing light from 24/7 to 18/6

My soil plants are 5 weeks old and they've been on a light cycle of 24/7 since day one.

If I cut back to 18/6. How will they respond? I don't want to confuse them into thinking its time to flower.

It makes sense that plants need some dark time, after all they get it in nature right?

Not sure I should change the light cycle, it makes me a little nervous, ha.

It will be fine in fact may help them now.The small dark time will relieve some stress the plants are in from the forced 24 hour light.Basically 24 hours is not natural in nature it gets dark.The 24 hour cycle help speed things up but the nice new relax time is fine for them and I reccomend it until your ready for 12/12..enjoy
