Reflection

I'm using foil right now which I understand is not a very good option. I tried spray-painting these Rubbermaids with white primer when I got started, but it didn't stick at all and in the end became a fine powder. Is there a type of paint that will work adhere to plastic? Or should I be using mylar? This is for reflecting CFL light.

Probably many options, but name brand its called Krylon Fusion for the spray paint that is designed to stick on plastic. As for reflection its all your choice. If it's just a rubbermaid I might use white paint as to help with heat issues but the Mylar will reflect more.
