Right my question is simple. If you cant get your hands on beautiful Mylar what are the next best options.

Also would it be worth sticking shitloads of tinfoil to the walls of a room or would painting it white be almost the same?

Black and white poly (Visqueen Plastic) and painting white is better than the tinfoil. Tinfoil is terrible reflector crinkles and wastes light.

Flat white paint. Dont use tinfoil, its horrible. Will give you hot spots, not as reflective as flat white.

Check out Panda plastic. But white paint is cheaper depending on the sizenof ur room.

Ps, panda plastic is the same as the VisQueen plastic. But i would google panda, more results.

You can get emergency blankets at Walmart, $2.88 each. They're in the camping section. Basically just thin mylar.
