What are you mounting up in your tent? I'll just be having a cool tube and a 20 lb scrubber. The bars have the C sections at the end.

Like this but the C at the end is integrated with the bar, its not bolted on

and I have three of them

that tent was only a 2 foot 8 bulb t5 light .........a 4 x 12 carbon filter...........when it is time i turn the light off and hang a quick dry/cure rack

that is what it looks like the plastic is crap in those..............your metal ones should be good but i go that extra step and add superglue to it to make sure it is sealed on the pole (u have it screwed on but superglue only comes off with nail polish remover what are the odds of that ever going near the tent)

yeah those plastic ones are garbage. I'm just looking for an alternative to the plastic corners. I'd rather not have to craft something myself, I don't trust my structural abilities when it comes to the tent. Does anyone know if companies provide alternative corners?

Here's the tent I have, it's 4'x4'x6.5'

I have a 400w cool tube hanging from the support bars at the top. There are 3 support bars, only use two for the lights but what's making me nervous is the plastic 3way connectors. Do you guys think I need to reinforce the tent before I hang a 20lb scrubber in there as well?
I was curious how things worked out with your scrubber ? I'm looking at that same grow tent myself...How do you like it ?

You pretty much answered your own question: first you had a #1.gut instinct #2. the word "Reinforce". So go ahead an get you some reinforced bars and Some ties extra strength resistant and put your scrubber up on the bars and adjust the weight that you have up. For future references to all.

One could reframe the tent using 1/2" galvanized pipe. They make the 3 way corners and surface mount flanges that would make good feet. That's the industrial grade fix..

One could get most of it done with standard lengths I suspect. Then a trip to a local pipefitter, plumbing supply house or even some nicer hardware stores could get your pipe threading issues worked out.

Some commercial electricians could be of assistance if they do a shit ton of RMC and thus have taper tap.

Good idea! Hehe, You should see what all my lights are hanging from in my grow room, and the growrooms i hook up. Thats rite, good ol' 1/2" galvanized pipe w/caps on ends so lights can't accidentally slide off when adjusting height. 6' peice fits 2 lights perfect, if I'm hanging 3 in a row, my plumber brother hooks me up.
Good idea on the framing with it, sturdy stuff.
I'm sure you got some unistrut hanging in your rooms huh Snaps?

I got a truck with the tires wearing a little uneven...steering is slightly off...

Would it be the ball joints or the tie rods that are giving me problems ?

Also, what is the recommended fuel for a 6.0l 2003 GMC 2500hd ?
