Remember THE WALTONS....?`

Every night, once safely ensconced under the bedclothes, the family members would spend 25 minutes shouting 'Good Night, John Boy',
'Good Night, Ella Sue', 'Good Night, Billy Bob'.....

Well, it's fast approaching 2am in England (the ancestral land of The Waltons)
and I am going to bed.

"Good Night, God Here'.

Pass it on

CBC, Sunday at 6pm was quite something for me in the 70's. A grand total of 4-5 stations to get up and switch by hand. We weren't allowed to sit too close to TVs back then so even more of a bummer.

Wonderful world of Disney, Beachcombers, etc... The Waltons were also a staple.

New tech came around every year or two, not every nanosecond. It's not that long ago but so much has changed. A show like the Waltons wouldn't make it without including a bunch of rolls in the hay :)

Haaay?

Mary Ellen was the hottest chick on the show for me.
I was 14 maybe.
Later she appeared in Playboy.

Then
