Repotting Top Of Live Plant Experiment...

If I cut the top of the plant as if it were going to be a clone and put some rooting hormone on it and then put it into a rockwool cube and then directly into soil to hold it down I think it will work. Two root balls and two nutrient uptake systems. What does the RIU community think will happen. Im gonna try it and continue to post updates.

dunno mate....well I suppose once u took top off and put it in nother pot after a whle it should root if under dirt?.....try it keep posted with pics id like to see the outcome lol

I have heard of someone successfully getting roots to grow out of the midsection of a plant by lightly scraping a section of the stalk, applying rooting hormone, and burying the scraped area. He published no pictures or any proof, so I can't vouch for the truthfulness of the report.

Im thinking that with 2 root balls and double the nutrient uptake it will make the side branches into the main branches and perhaps multiple large colas with the nutrients and root structure to support them, hence doubling yield from one plant.

i've done this before, easier to cut n root by far.

I was told by a botanist that it will work cause he does it with tomatoes all the time and they turn into huge shrubs. Idk well see
