Reserva privada and bomb seeds grow

Thought I would start a grow journal on these 2 strains because as a grower I feel we need to start building index's on all strains and document the plant in behavior, ppms, e.c, ph levels etc and anything else worth noting. Dont just go off what the breeder states as most times while you are growing that plant you would like to have the knowledge on that said strain at hand and not always wing it so hence my thoughts of my journal. I will try to update as much as I can and note anything i think is helpful. Enough rambling, here they are.


Purple og 18 is 6 days above soil today and bomb kush is 9 days old. I had from day 5 on bomb kush a few small discoloration spots on leaves but i think it was from getting a few drops of mixed roots excel splashed onto them. Started feeding kush bomb first feed of .45-.5 e.c 2 days ago and still as is the pog18 is getting nothing but ro water with a few drops of calmag and .2ml of roots excel (kush bomb had same until day 7). Ph at 5.8 and res temp at 20 degrees. 600w cooltube 3ft above and currently not venting as need that heat in tent, Temps are 27-28.5 constant with humidity floating between 50-60% . 30ltr pots with 100% perlite recirc system.

I got a couple POG's going under a 600 MH right now in soilless, I'm subbed for the ride. Mine have been in the room for about 3weeks now.

Will post up more pics as they get going but as for now pog18 on left and kush bomb on right. Note the discoloration on kush b leaves. Solution splash back under hid?. Also love the fact as from day 1 of pog18s true leaves they have been covered in crystals already so hope she turns out pure filth as ive never done ogs or kushs before.

Nice mate. Hows she going?. Is she a heavy feeder?. Does she look more og18 or wreck? .. goodluck with her have you got a journal goin, if so I will pop in now n then.

i had grown berry bomb and was very happy with it, it produced better and finished a week sooner than northern lights with a nice berry smell...i just popped 2 feminized big bombs hope they grow well..i also grew an og from reserve prada but wasnt very happy with it,, great weed but weak stems and below average production..

I'm not so sure what's going on with the Sick one, unfortunately it will get tossed if it doesn't show some signs of getting better after next watering. Pic of the strong one, just transplanted into a 3g smart pot.

Yeh ive done berry bomb ice bomb bubble bomb and cherry bomb several times but so far cherry bomb is the best smoke and yield ive ever done and had she is a amazing plant and strain. Never done reserva privada gear before this my first run so hope all the hype not bs.

Sounds and looks like shes lovin whatever your doin mate so keep it up. Will have a look at your thread :) . Mine looks like she may be a slow veg'a so hope its just slow seedling stage.

Day 12 for kush bomb.
Day 9 for pog18.

Temp is 28 contant and 55% humidity. Lights still 3ft away unvented but may hook up and turn on and move lights down a inch or two. Res is starting to get warm in room so putting frozen ice bottles in res whenever temp gets above 22. Ph 5.7 , E.c has slightly been raised to .6 for kush bomb as more ca mg were added. Pog e.c remains at .35 and hand watered once a day by soaking its cup up to qtr way up from bottom so roots head down looking for water. Since last post both seedlings don't look they have done much at all and I'm usually a touch ahead in growth compared to this grow so hoping all the movement's going on in the roots.

Is the other pog you have a slow grower like mine mate or just a bad seedling all together in general. Just wondering because out of my 5 pk of fem pog18 out of 3 so far this is the only one to live thus far so wondering if bad batch of seeds went out?.. do you have a link to your grow mate as id like some info on her and what she was taking around same age as mine etc. Cheers mate

I got a 6 pack through gorilla seed bank, out of 6 I got 2 to germ. I am not the best at germination, I could use some improvement for sure. But I just popped 10 Blue Pit and 9 of them are an inch tall now. I am not real impressed with them to be honest, I have my fingers crossed that the strong one will be a keeper. I chalk my other "weak" one up to weak genetics. I am going organic so far, All my other plants love it, as well as my previous grows when i use this method. It is the first time I have a plant looking so sad at this point of the grow. It should be growing a lot more. But I'm going to be patient and see if I can turn it around.
Here is what my sick one looks like. I know I drowned it last watering trying to give it some more organic fertilizer and making sure I didn't have any dry spots in my soil. so I will let it dry out and give it a dose of my duo line and see how she reacts.

Hmm. Not good mate but fingers crossed for ya she comes good. I run 100% organics outside when i grow and never get less then a pound a plant plus they always look so healthy n happy. I was tossing up to get skywalker kush or the pog18 now i wish id gone the skywalker. I saw a mates dwc plants today which seeds germed 2 days after mine and his are already at 9" tall and just as wide so if mine are not looking like my previous grows at same time frames soon shes going outside as summers just around the corner anyway. Myself and my misses have been neglective parents to our seedlings at times but by 14 days they always are shouting full VEG mode and go on to big plants but i see nothing like that with my pog18, tad disheartening. Bumped her e.c up to .6 tonight but ph had dropped from 5.8 to 5.4 this arvo so flushed her party cup out with plain 5.8 phd ro water just before lights out.

i guess all the seeds are f1 hybrids, no stabilized seeds..dont get me wrong phenio hunting has its upside, but at this time id prefer knowing what ill get out of a seed,,,UNIFORMITY!! ill go elswere for my seed needs..

Yeah I feel the same with my POG, I'm going to give it a little more time but I have to many beans I want to pop to wait for a slow one. I hope it gets better soon, and hopefully yours will start stacking some nodes soon too.

Check out breeders Boutique, I've grown nothing but their gear and it has all been fire. If you ever shop for any more seeds. I got these off of a competition here on RIU by Gorilla Seed Bank. All the guys who run BB are on RIU daily so u can ask q's directly with the breeder.

Yes time will always tell in these cases but my instinct is pushing me to move on and germinate something else. Ive grown inside for 5 years, 3 of em were with soil but the last 2 have been 100% perlite drip system. Ive only ever run bomb seeds line hydro and never needed to look elsewhere as the 3 or 4 strains of theirs i ran were always killer smoke killer yielding gear and always looked good through out its life, never once gave me troubles but as i wanted to try ogs ive always had my eyes on pog18 so took the plunge. I only ever use herbies as tried else where and never got seeds, even with bonza seeds.

I feel ya, that breeder i mentioned earlier has some dog kush strain that was lovely. I have 2 og kushes going too with the pog's. The 1 pog is looking nice though. I been running a couple years and never had a plant act like this pog myself.

Quick update.
Day 13 for kush bomb.
She getting ready to leave the seedling stage and hit veg over the next few days. She was drooping bad yesterday so dropped humidity to 50% bumped ph up to 5.9 and made new res up .8ec with no roots excel and 24 hours later she has bounced back completely. Pog is not doing anything at all sadly and looks the same as previous pics and like a week old seedling. I'm pretty sure I will take her outside and transplant her into organics (dont know how many times ive had chillis tomatoes capsicums and mully seedlings bounce back and thrive after the swap). after pog is out of tent i will have space for new seedling and will go royal queen lemon haze, dinafem 98 bubba or that special choc mint og by humboldt seeds (if i can get any info on her first)..
