Reserva Privada Sour Kush AKA Headband and Nirvana Seeds Northern Light

I've grown both. Northern Lights is big, dense, and yummy. Great yielder. Headband requires another week or two in flower, yields less, but is a much more potent and tolerance-resistant high. The headband might even catch a few more dollars, too, but with the yield decrease, it'll even out.

They are both fantastic you cant really go wrong. Try both. :) :)

It sounds like your new to growing....... Most new growers are all tripped out on "what will I yield" "how much per plant" "zomg wtf" and stuff. Dont be, just go with the flow. Pick quality strains and you'll be happy most of the time! :)

Yield is a factor that you cant really state even after your first crop of a plant. Your grow environment, feeding schedules, and everything, needs to be tip top before you can really crank each strain. Over time this will make more sense I can assure you......

To control height in a plant, you veg it less for shorter height, and more for taller heights. Plants tend to double or triple when they begin flowering before they are done. If some get too tall you can pinch and twist the branches that are too tall and that will help control things, and then next time chop a few days off your veg cycle.

Hope this helps!

also how much did you pull off of 1 plant of headband and 1 of nl? just trying to get an idea here
If I put four 1000w lights on one plant, I'll get 4000w worth of weed. If I put 64 plants under 4000w of lights, I'll get 4000w worth of weed. :)

nirvana northern lights is amazing!!!! all their northern lights hyrbrids are amazing too! i say this from experience too, chrystal is my fav strain so far. i agree with the other post too... head band is a more high dollar strain. idk about it being more potent but its taste is unique and people notice the og taste. headband would take at least 2or 3 weeks longer to flower and wouldnt yeild nearly as much as the NL. i really like headband dont get me wrong tho... go ahead and try both! id get the og18 tho myself... specially with the NL next to it so they are a lil closer in height and stuff

@cruzman72 i dont even know where u can get headband at right now anyways... at attitude its sold out. thats a bummer dude! btw people in the pontiac area (thats where the detroit lions stadium used to be) sell headband for $500+ an ounce. thats stupid... but its like that here in SE michigan lots of kush strains and purple strains go for top dollar around here. permafrost, wonder woman, juicy fruit, larry og, and anything kush are very common strains around here in Flint. i cant believe how fast Larry caught on here. people pay 25 a gram all day for it... they sell it in .3 bags commonly. so stupid. yeah bro go with #18 OG and The Nirvana Northern Lights. id love to do that my self so let know wha tu do!!

R.P. Sour Kush IS NOT HEADBAND....not even close.
On top of that it is the most hermi-producing strain I've ever seen. Week 6 every plant every time.
Absolute waste of seed/time/$$$ I've ever had the displeasure of working with.
I will never EVER use R.P. stuff after my Sour Kush experience.

Thats the first time I have ever heard anyone completly shoot down.RP\DNA. My experience with them has been great and others seem to think they are one of the better companies out there. But we all have the right to make those decisions. I have personally shot down greenhouse seed company

Normal google search should make the issues with the SK pretty obvious, its super common and at this point the strain is a well known poor apple.
I have not run any other RP stuff and I've 'heard' great things about DNA but after that experience I wont touch either with a 10 ft pole.

I HAVE to belive that they put that strain out with almost no testing, no stabalizing, and no real effort. It had to be just for the name grab on Headband.
90% of other peoples stuff Ive read who grew the SK had the same experience.
