Reservoir size a problem?

So I am doing a DWC type rubbermaib but the only onle I could find was fairly shallow. I am using 18" airstones (2) in it and I need to know if I need a bigger basin? It is only 5" deep and 3'X2' around with 6 plants.

?? could work.. but it would have been better to have the regular 18-20 galon tank... which is 20 inchs deep..

Your going to need to find a deeper one. Remember the 3-4" netted pots stick down almost 3" that means if you want your roots to breath you will have 1"-2" max of water depth. This setup would be good to clone though
