Resplit an old main knuckle

A couple of weeks ago I stupidly tied a plant down pretty baked and even more drunk. In doing so I tore both the main secondary stems from the main. I also split both these stems supercropping too hastily which you can see were tied up with tape in the picture below.

They seemed to have healed so tried to tie them down again tonight, despite being gentle one of the knuckles have split again. I'm hoping the knuckle is thick enough that half will transfer nutes.

Should I go with it or tie it back up

The healing looks ok but you will need to watch for infection which can take a while to set in and kill the branch, also try using plastic clothes pegs to clamp the branches back together, when you use tape it can cause rot and can damage the branch again when taking it off.

Yeah I was pretty mashed, whiskey and weed! I just sprayed some rhizotonic and clonex on the split and taped her back up. She has bounced up praying already. I'll keep the peg idea in mind cheers, it's gorilla tape so don't want to pull it off right now and risk any more damage, stuff sticks like fk!
