retarded growth on leaves and discolor

there are 4 pics of retarded growth... at first i thought it was a bug or somthing so i looked and i made sure there is no bugs... so next im thinking somthing is wrong with my nutes in my system...

then while i was looking today i noticed a little discoloring on a few leaves and some bending of the leafs..

can some one help me find out what the problem is?? my first guess is to much Nitrogen or ph

little info on my setup...
plants are 25 days old from sprout
in a small cab that is 30ix19x34
two 100w hps bulbs... with some supplemental light from a 15w 18 inch aquarium light that is blue and red...
i have lots of exhaust and negative pressure... (it will close the doors of the cab is i leave it almost closed)
temps are running around 83-91 during day and 78-85 at night.. (ambient room temp is always high during day)
Running it in a DWC system i made...
ph keeps fluctuating it was 6.5 so i added ph down and got it to 5.4 then i checked at night and its now 7.5 so i lowered it to 5.5 again... ppm is around 500-600 ... (it was at 1700 last week cuz i didnt have a ppm meter) but the pics are of new growth tho so its not from that....
nutes i have in tank... (when label said 2tsp per gal i only put in 2 tsp in the res of 5 gal)

again i checked the ph and its at 7.2 again...??? why would my ph keep rising???

well i lowed it to 4.8 right before i wrote the last msg and its already at 5.1 wtf??

PH for hydro is 5.8. You are way too high.....and low. You are also barely feeding them, like very low and that might not be all that bad, but still low.

Dude, you need to figure out what effect your nutes have on the water. Try mixing up a gal mixture of distilled water and 1/2 tsp of nutes....room temp water, shake it up good, test PH. Figure out what it takes to get 5.8. If you have to mix 5 gallons individually to get it done...make it happen.

Also make sure your ph tester is calibrated and you are sure of what you are reading.

Be careful when adjusting ph, a swing from 7.2 to 4.8 is not good for your babies. You can damage/kill with a jump like that. Take it easy, 1/2 to 1 point in a 24 hour period.

Are you using city/well water? If so, you probably need some sort of a buffer. You can use a ph down with a buffer in it like the one from GH, but your best bet would be to use ro/di water, it will level easier and stay there longer. With the GH ph down and city water (high in lime) it takes me an application, wait 24 hours, and then 1 more application to stabilize the ph. With ro water it is stabilized with the first application.

Not bad for wild fluctuations and too high ppm. Good luck.

Everyone has given good point so far. I would really keep in mind that high temp, part of the reason why your leaves are curling up. For the pH just like skokie said don't let the pH fluctuate so drastically. growth looks good even with the minor problems.

sorry double post but pics didnt work

what happend to my plants?? i went to check them this morning and i found this ... i need to fix this soon.... i changed my res last night it was at 600ppm and 6.4 now its at 1300ppm and 5.8.. whats up??

That's nute burn. And some major nute burn on some of those leaves.

This could be a result of the high ppm you had before. Plants don't necessarily show the damage done to them immediately. You might have corrected the issue, but the initial damage might take a while to unfold.

In any case, flush, give them a week then re-nute.
