Reusing soil for next grow...

Is there a reason why I shouldnt reuse soil after each grow?

That depends on ferts you are using. If you are using chemical ferts, than over the life of one plant you have deposited a bunch of insoluble salts which toxify your soil. Yes flushing will remove much of these salts, but some will remain. You can fix this and rejuvenate your soil by adding some sort of compost as this provides microbiology needed to deal with build up of man made salts.

If you love root rot and root infestations with nasty bugs then YES, you should reuse soil.

how do you plan to get the old roots out? soils cheap.
