Reusing Soil

I just harvested 3 aks all were in 20lt pots,I dont know what to do with all the soil,can I reuse it or just put it out on the garden

im wondering the same thing, i have nutes so the soil is just a medium right? a knowledgeable answer would be much appreciated

it would be ok for starting seeds. I would always use new soil for each grow. soil does lose its goodness which you cant replace with nutes IMO

i agree i never resuse, (but I am not using 20lb pots) but it can be done. u would have to flush the soil really well to make sure any salt build up was removed & then of course u would have to make sure u could ph the soil back to ur close to 7ph will proper addition of nutes or organic matter to again re-energize it. I would suggest using ur soil WITH new additives that u would mix in to make it fresh again.

Soil can be recycled. Usually people who recycle their soil load it up into a tote with various other organic amendments and trim from the previous grow, kitchen scraps, etc. and some earthworms and let that all decompose/cook for a month or so. That's what organics is about, really.

I can see how that would work as you would be putting natural nutes and minerals etc back into it.
