Hi folks. If I decide to reveg my favorite female after harvest, what steps should i take.
Should I pull her up by the roots and snip off the root ball down to a nice small one so she can start fresh and have new room to grow roots??
Do I need to put her in new soil?
If I just want her for getting clones, how much cfl veg light would she need?
We have seen the rubbermaid grow boxes. Anyone ever built a "Queen Mother" box just for one mother plant? Seems like that would be cool. You could use a smaller tub, use only about three cfl 26 watt 6500k lights. You could probably get by with one intake and one exhaust pc fan. In fact, you might even just drill some holes in the bottom of the tub and put the soil directly in the tub, since only one plant would ever be in it at a time. She would have plenty of room for roots to grow out in the tub and yet still stay low in the box. Well, the bad part about that would be you couldn't lift her out and get a look at her, so I guess a pot would be needed. Anyway, I thought of this because I was sitting here waiting for my lights to come on in the flower room. I am thinking how proud I am of my oldest female and how I would like to clone from her. I only have my one closet and I have other plants flowering, but i do have this one container and was thinking a grow box would be cool, but just a clone mother box.
Hope you can answer my questions above about the mother.
