reveg question

what would likely happen if i cut all the buds off a plant about 3 weeks into flower but left all the leaves and put under a veg light schedule. i would assume it would stress it but the plant would try to revert back to veg right? anyone tried this or something similar?

I had a reveg 7ft in diameter and 4ft tall with almost no training. When it regrows, all of the nodes may try to veg, even the ones in the buds, and they tend to grow laterally more than tall. almost exactly one year ago

beautiful lol, they flower to early and i dont want to waste the strain
