I've been using r/o or rain water for my plants,I use GH for my nutes.
My question is when i follow the direction for mixing the nutes it is way under the recommended ppm. Do i and more nutes to get to 1200 ppm or it it fine to follow the directions?

I use 1/4 strength the recommended dose on the GH Flora Nova. I soil grow and find this is a good mix for the Veg and Bloom nutes.

I use the Flora Nova series in Hydro
what they tell you to mix is a safe PPM solution. 1270ppm for aggressive growth.
I've been mixing solutions that are 2400+ ppm 4.7pH with distilled water, with out any nutrient burn.
If your using hydro I'd say play around with it. You can allways dump your nutrient
solution and start over. If your using soil, them I'd play it safe, and mix to the ppm that
your feeding schedule tells you to. It's not as easy to dump your soil out as it is to dump a nutrient solution.
