I'm in the market for a RO system, does anyone have any suggestions for a good product for me? I was planning purchasing HTGSupply's 100GPD system but its sold out. Thanks in advance

Is 200 GPD for extra $200 worth it? The 100gpd $159., 200gpd $349. Is it that much better? Looks like it comes with a little frame

Dang man. We have a tiny little guy. Don't even know the gpd, but we fill up buckets then use that water. The small ro systems are much cheaper. We use Hydrologic and have had no problems. The one thing you'll find about these systems is they waste a TON of water. For every gallon you get cleaned you waste three I believe. Just make sure they have some kind of warranty.

I just checked the hydrologic ro system, problem with that one it doesn't come with the 3 stage filter. Only 2. The one I need has to have the deionizer, so the ppm's is 0. What kind of ppm are you getting with the hydrologic?

Not sure?? If thats the case I guess I wouldn't need the deionizer, my ppm out the tap is 350-380 depending on the day. Fucking horible, whatever system I get is going to need to be a good one

Siiicckkk!!! Thanks for the link. Found one for $95, 3 stage and 100gpd BUT, Reviewer said it was leaky, but the company sent replacement parts to fix the problem...?
I buy 5 stages for $95 all the time, I sell them and have had great luck, just have to install according to the directions, having the waist drain connected properly is really important.

I just plumbed from my main water supply a valve for cold water in my grow room. Nearest drain is in the boiler room 8 feet away, is this ok? Is it just a line that drops in a drain?

what you can do is pinch the drain line and put it into a empty plastic bottle and let the bottle drain into a bucket, it needs back pressure or it will make the good water very slow, go to the weekly specials section on that sight, they have the 5 stage for $95

there is 2 lines that will come out, they label them, one for waist and one for the good water

I see the one for $95, but only $115 which is in my budget for the one that brings it to 0 ppm, and 150GPD over 100GPD. The picture I posted last.. I think I'll go with this one. I will post pictures when I receive it. Thanks again VGH

My friends 300gpd barely fills a 55g in a day. Seems like the 100gpd thing is for city water. Not well water

Maybe a victory said about the back pressure, I still don't really understand what he meant but probably will get it once I receive it, my roommate is a plumber so I think we can figure it out? I only need 40 gallons every res change, and because my water is always way too cold out the tap I leave them sitting in 5 gal buckets anyway so over the course of a couple days I'm sure I could manage.
