Reverting back to veg. harmful?

I got 3 girls of LA Woman and they are all about 5 weeks or so old. I switched their light cycle to 12/12 to begin flowering. they all show female traits and i was wondering if i could revert them back to veg. for a while to allow them to get a little bigger. they are quite small.
They have only been in 12/12 for 8days.
Think reverting them back to veg. will cause harm to them? or any other bad things?
any advise is more than welcome.

i have also heard that sometimes reverting back to veg can make your plant go herm.? true/false?

All i have heard is it just takes 2 weeks for it to get back into veg and then it will take a while for it to get back into flowering when you make the switch again ive havnt read or heard anything about plants turning up herms.
