Right concentrate for PEN Vape

Hey guys.. have a Platinum Cloud pen coming shortly... Last time I made ISO hash it was brown and sticky and I dunno if that is what I should stick into the vape or? What is the best method to make some vapeable stuff without buying anything special order??

Definitely do more research than what i'm about to give you, because i dont know dick shit about actually making this stuff, but my nicotine vape pens use propylene glycol, vegetable glycol, or a 50/50 mix of both to create the vaporizing oil for the pens. I would assume you could make olive oil based concentrate and then mix it with pg or vg. how much to mix, that's part of the scavenger hunt. just thought i'd throw you some terms that might be useful in finding the answer. hope that helps,

I've got a glass globe atomizer that I use with a pen style battery. I made some QWISO for it recently. The first wash came out like shatter, which would break and I could easily handle it. The second wash came out sticky, similar to taffy, and very hard to handle. I've smoked the first wash stuff and it worked very well. I'm still debating whether or not I want try the sticky stuff in it. I would imagine that if you can heat it up and it completely melts it should be OK. I'm new to this also so maybe someone with more experience can better answer this.

That's where I am not sure either. I wanna switch to vape and quit cigs n blunts but I need to be able to make viable concentrate. The previous washes I did were one wash qwiso then stove top steam dry. The hash came out goof as heck, but way too sticky...


Should I do multiple washes of the dame bud for best results... Anyone use a gpen or a cloud vape pen before?

Hey man, so i exclusively smoke vape pens and have owned alot. Ive owned the Cloud Pen, Micro G with the screen, atmosjunior, pulsar vortex, nail attachment for the atmos, and i have a globe on the way that fits my cloud/micro G. As you can see i havnt not found one that i am completly happy with. They are all sorta good for what they are good for. The Cloud is a nice pen, its gets good and hot and does a good job with hits, only this is i think it gets too hot as it is quite harsh from time to time and can burn your throat. Also there is a wick inside the coils and the first like 10 sessions you get a little bit of battery acid taste, once that goes away its a nice pen.

As for the best material for pens. Either winterized shatter or really dry crumbly butter. Doing the iso wash is a good method but it sounds like you skipped winterizing. After you filter and have your ISO ready for evap. throw that shit in a mason jar tight and put it in the freezer for 48 hours. There are a lot of impurities (waxes, fats, what nots) that will freeze. You then want to filter it again so those frozen "what nots" are collected and not in your oil. Reason this is so important for the pens is that they get caked up and need replacing and yada yada. When u winterize it barley leaves anything left behind. And besides, winterized is soooooo potent and soooo smooth.

That was a quick run down i recommend searching out the Winterization threads on this website and read up a bit there are some details i left out.

I'm split on winterization but few things,

I've tried just about every style of vape pen, haven't found one I like yet but still a few on my list to try. (DabOTG, Cera, and all these new Ti/Ceramic chambers coming out like the plat tornado or w/e)

The Cloud you have is pretty much made for wax. Shatter or most other consistency work pretty well too. Trick is don't over-fill and clean often. I recommend getting a no goo dabber/scraper thing, 91/99% iso, and iso handy wipes are great, can get all that on amazon prime.

If you wanna use ejuice a wickless Ti cart is pretty good. I can't stand that stuff tho.

Thanks for the replies. Will take winterizing into consideration. At a a superbowl party I was at today everyone was using ecigs... I can't hardly wait..

In the end, I will end up using iso for some prop Joe juice. My goal is to be able to med wherever o want with no one knowing the wiser.
