Sad to hear, I thought he was young but I don't really know.
He was super generous if I understand the GG4 story correctly. He brought dozens of GG4 cuts to the cup and passed them out for free before the results came in that it was the winner. Who else gives away their prized cut like that? I think that is a big reason why GG4 is such a phenomenon. Probably the number #2 strain of the decade in terms of popularity, after GSC (even though GSC started circulating in 08 or 09.)
