Ripped root of when moving plant :(

So I had just planted my seed 1 or 2 weeks ago and nothing really showed up except a reaaaalllly small leaf and maybe 1cm high. Only difference with this seed is that I planted it in a way too big pot so I wanted to put it in a small cup to see if it'd get any better. So when digging up the dirt really carefully and etc I ripped the little root (the only root). I still replanted it and put it under some sunlight and watered it a bit.

Will it survive? I got a batch of ak47 comin' in tomorrow so it's not really a big deal but it's a shame if it's dead.

I tore a small amount off of one of my lemon kush plants when transplanting. Still is alive and kicking! just give her some water and make sure the soil is moist. Let her do her thing and dont baby her!

also I would have just kept it in the larger pot.

If you water the whole pot the plants roots will be searching for the water and doing their own thing.

Yhea but I got some other seeds planted but in smaller pots and they've grown maybe 5x times the size of this one. Well I'll let it be under the cfl lights and pray to god. And should I water it once a day now or just maybe once everyother day? I'm new to this so I really want it to grow good before planting it outside.

well Id probably water every other day. Thats what I try and do. Not 100% sure how big your plants are. My plants are starting to blow up since I put a couple in the back yard. (OG kush and strain hunters money maker). Now i need to buy a shit load of lavender for the backyard lmao

Aight man, thanks for responding and helping me out, saw your journal it looks fucking sweet. I'll be sure to water it everyother day and keep it under the light for as long as I can for a week or so. If nothing has happened to it then I'll throw it away and hope the ak47 works better.

Thanks man! My first grow! Also....Now is the perfect time to get them outside. Since yours are only 2 weeks old id atleast let them grow good inside for 3-4 weeks ATLEAST. then throw em outside. I just went to check on my money maker that I topped and threw outside and HOLY FUCK. lol. Its literally probably 8inches taller than the last time I saw it.

Dont throw her out! let her grow! My NL are a perfect example. 2 of my plants are short and FAT. The other is TALL as shit but is starting to bud like crazy.

Yhea I guess, I'm praying that when I take 'em out they will start to grow like crazy aswell, it's a NL aswell. I'm also planning that if neither of my grows this year works I will buy a 200-300watt led light, plant a shit ton of seeds in my food cellar where it's moist and place some heaters down there and let it grow.

Fuck yhea dude i'm praying to black jesus to give me great yields.

my NL are auto's and are only listed as a 30g-50g yields per plant. But i have 3 of em. So worse case senario I make $600 and keep an ounce for myself. LOL. I also will be having my Barneys NYCDiesel finishing up around 7/22. Out of 3 seeds this is the only one that lived. May keep that bad boy for personal use....

my photo's Im vegging now are all going to be part of a large August harvest im planning.

I have 2 OG kush, 3 Lemon kush, and 1 money maker. ALL have been topped and vegging away. The money maker has like 10 tops lmao. So im excited about that one. The lemon kush and the OG kush are exploding with growth also. Keep checking up on my journal! Ill do an update tonight!

broke a tap root on a Sweet Cheese at week 2 and it stayed short and the buds were small

Probably not. You should have left it in the big pot. Never transplant a young plant with a small delicate root system.

Im a noob grower so Im not to sure the way I do things will be the same as you. But, When I germ I soak them in a glass of water. Until the tap root just starts to pop out. I then prep the pot its going into and soak the soil. Plop the seed in cover and stick it straight under straight light. I usually dont water until about day 10-15ish. Depending on how fast the water evaps or gets used up by the plant.

Thats how I do it. Kinda straight forward but there are MANY different ways to do things.

Also Im running a GalaxyHydro 300w LED for bloom/veg and a Sun blaze t5 4foot is my veg light.

My bigger harvest I have planned will be vegging under the T5's for another month. One of the fucking bulbs burned out so i need to go get another here on the 1st. (Dont get stoned and try and move your light around. lol).

use solo cups and just cut the cup from side A to side B and u wont have to risk it, and if you are cutting it and dont see roots just slap some tape on and wait a week

Update: The root is fine and no issues has been found so far! It's looking healthy (I think) and I'll keep it under a window for 1 week then take it out. Also does it look like the leafes are starting to form a cup? Is this because it's too warm is because it's a new seedling still trying to get its' leafs out?
