Road Runner Automatic Journal

Welcome, to any that stop by. Anyone is welcome to post and give suggestions. This is my 4th grow, so I've already got a bit of experience and this grow is testing out a new setup and nutrient line.

Strain: Dinafem Roadrunner Automatic
Genetics : Lowryder #1 x Dinafem #1
Ruderalis 30%, Indica 60%, Sativa 10%
Days to Flower at 20 hours per day. 60-70
Outdoors: April to October
THC: Medium (6% - 12%)
Production: From 15 to 50 gr.
Height: In soil from 20 to 70 cm. In hydroponic up to 120 cm

Light: 150W HPS+a few CFLs
Nutrients: Blue Mountain Organics lineup
Soil: 50/50 mix of Light Warrior and Ocean Forest

This grow I will continue with LST. But this time I will eventually be constructing a tent to house my plant. This is drastically different from my closet-growing days and I wanted it to increase stealthiness. Hopefully it works out. Also, this time I'm going organic. I hope to take advantage of the fact that I will be able to maintain a healthy soil environment. So that's my set-up. I'll be posting pretty often. Enjoy.

Lol I will stay high maybe not so much didnt realize I double posted! Tell me about it those fairies are always getting all up in my face and nicking my shit, tried to smoke one...wouldn't reccomend it.

haha thanks man. I dropped it and was like fuck are you serious. I didn't even hear it hit the ground. I think a fairy took it for a few minutes to play tricks on me. The seed is pre-soaking now. Stay tuned and stay high my friend

The Roadrunner and my friend's Pineapple Express popped their heads above the soil today. They look good so far. Now the journey begins.

Hey man! I'm new to growing and I just started germinating my roadrunner auto yesterday! I'm going to be following your journal very closely and hopefully it will provide me with tips throughout my grow. She cracked open this afternoon (I'm just waiting for the root to pop out). How much do you think you'll yield? What is your total CFL wattage? I have a 150 watt HPS and two 6200k CFL's. Do you think that'll be good? I won't start using my HPS until veg.

Ah, good someone along for the journey. Along with my 150W HPS is have 3 32W 6500K and 2 32W 2700K. I think. It varies. I plan on using one 32W 6500K up until about 1.5 weeks. And then I'll hit her with the HPS. I have no clue how much she'll yield. But i believe they have good potential. I plan on giving the lower buds lots of light by doing LST. Hopefully she'll yield a lot. I yielded 3 Oz from my last auto I just chopped down. Here's my friend's pinepple express that i'm starting for him and my RR. The RR is developing a bit abnormally to my. the cotyledons were very wavy and now the first set of leaves are 2 different sizes. we'll see how this goes. growth is good so far though. here's day 2.

Thanks greennewfie! Both roots started popping out of the cups today so I'll transplant later on. I plan to do 50/50 light warrior/ocean forest. The RR is growing very oddly to me. I'll post a pic after I transplant.

Here she is in her new container. Seems like there's a third leaf coming out with the first 2. Should be interesting. My new nutrient line came in today. It's from Blue Mountain Organics, also should be interesting. Very cheap and looks good. Not much else to report on.

Off to a good start but if its like your last grow they are lucky buggers

Thats awesome man 3 leaves is cool lookin off the start, should be a bushy one!!

I call this one inkblot, cause I just can't figure it out. And it kind of looks like it to me. It's like it topped itself and the side branches are getting big earlier. I don't even see where the "top" is. In addition, the leaves are malformed and fused. Maybe It'll be really bushy. I'll keep it just to see what happens. It does look like it's growing so I don't want to kill it. I knew something was wrong with it from the start. Oh, also gave full strength SPT.

Nice man, its like the ugly duckling and i bet she's gonna be a beautiful plant.. thats how mine started all twisted and deformed looking i didnt think it would survive and it turned out to be one nice bushy girl and awesome smoke cant wait to see her develope!!!

Hey man no problem mine was on its 1st set of leaves for like a week and a half and when i transplanted it was a bush in a week!!!

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping will happen. That's good to hear. I've been silently worrying that she'll just stop growing, because I don't see the third set of leaves yet and I do on my friend's plant. Just gotta roll with it I guess.

Im sure she will be fine Napa, Like I said Its in as good hands as it could be in! Still its gotta be kinda exciting sure she may turn out to be a freak but in what way is the question.....

Thanks for the kind words Stoned . But yeah that's what I'm telling myself. Right now it looks as if she has 2 tops. I can see the third set coming in now by the way, my fears are calmed lol. So I'm thinking this could actually be a good thing. You're not supposed to top autos, but this could get me around that. Now...to roll a blunt for me and only me. Time to sit back and relax, keep it blazin fellas.
