rockwool questions

I read that rockwool is prone to growing algae, how can I combat it? And just making sure, I can grow from start to finish in exclusively rockwool right? Or when I'm moving it to the bloom room should I surround the rockwool cube with clay balls jic it grows out of the cube? I'm new btw though I'm sure its obvious

u using grodan small cubes as a medium yeah m8? about 10mm cubed? if so then thats wat i use, and funny u shud say bout roots spilling out cos thats wat jus happened this grw lol only time it has happened though.

Well I got the little cubes... Bout 2 inches wide and then the humongo cubes for the small ones to plug into

Bury the small cubes under the hydrton and cover the tops of the larger ones (i.e. 4" or 6") with block covers or cut thick plastic to fit them.

Keep the plastic on the sides and cover the tops of the cubes and you should be fine!!

I use mastic tape to cover the tops and every clone survived, not one problem!!!:clap:

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the help everyone offers here. IDK what I'd do without it!
