Rollin up the leaves

Has anyone ever saved to leaves from their plant to roll their bud in? I'm not sure if it's really that good of an idea but i just wanna do it for the novelty If any one could tell me if there is anything i would have to do to the leaves first that would be awesome!

ive made a marijuana cuban with low-grade iso oil to seal it and 4 leafs and about 3g of nugs i saw a guide on making one slightly different on weedfarmer.com (.org?)i didnt like it infact i hated it idk why it was more of a "i have a bunch of crap weed i dont want to smoke for medication"moment.
