Room vs tent options.

Hi guys, just looking for some feedback. From the real pros. I'm going into my 4th grow, rrunning aurora indica for the 2ed time. Only difference is, I've never used more than 2 lights. I've just moved therefore I can make my room suit me. Space is in no way an issue. I've only ever used 4X8 tents and have 2. And I'm using a ebb and flow system with 36 buckets. And have 4 600 watts hps fixtures. If you were in my position, would you purchase a 10x10 tent or just have a room? Also is that enough light? I haven't had bad eyelids by any means, or by my own judgment, taste and density have been great, but I feel like I could do better as far as yeild goes, idk if I'm getting premature or what but my biggest top last time was only 10 gramsish. I want coke cans!!! Lol. I have no interest in light movers with nor do I have an interest in increasing plant sites to fill out my room which is about 18' x16'

Go to 3 600's per 4x8
Run them on a flip flop and veg in a closet.
If you have a few grand to spend on building a room and going closed with an AC and dehumidifier thats awesome too!
I just built a room and spent twice what I thought it would cost. Almost $200 just on reflectix!

Personally I recommend rooms. Yes its more work at the start of the build and it will cost you more. Once your past the build the added room of a bigger area will pay you dividends right off the bat. If you do decide to build a room take you time in the build stage and make sure you know where you want everything to go, this added time will allow to think about the whole process. power, water, ventilation and the such. Control is much easier in a big area versus a smaller one. I have one client that has 14-600 waters in a 10x20 room, so I guess my question to you is how big do you want to get? JAS

How much did you yield per 600w light ? Have you considered growing larger plants? 36 buckets is a lot of work.

rooms are nice if you have the money to run it correctly. I put 18 sites in ebb and grow buckets in 4x8 tents and run 2 600 watt lights and 1 400 watt ligh between them. If you were doing 36 buckets in a room say at least 10 by 10 then I would say youd need 5 600 watt lights for that setup. In the tents I also found to greatly increase yeild co2 and lollipopping and fim ar awesome to get this. My colas on my small quick grows like this tent to stay baseball sized and if I grow them up to around 4 feet by finish then softball or tallboy cans is the norm but I grow indicas so fatt nugs are normal while sativas get those long donkey dick kind.

Total was 377 grams of really nice rock hard nuggs, so divide that by 2. 138 grams of lower, fluffier, not bad but not the most desire able textured stuff. So I made butter and hash with that :). I was also in soil. That's my 2ed run, the most recent was bigger plants, vegged under t5's from cut for just judder 7 weeks, intended to do 4 but one went soft one me half way through and was 1/3 the size and girth of her sisters, so I pulled hr and didn't wanna have to deal with one maturing slower than rest. I just wanted low numbers so I could play around and experiment ur not have so many plants on hand that I couldn't effectively document the results of everything I did. 6th week of 12:12 things really atarted looking awesome and long stores short, it had to be cut really short and never made t to week 7. Didn't with yeild but w. no flush and being cut mid day it was a rather unpleasant smoke. I'm kinda leaning more toward mid sir plants for the reason is I don't want to have a very large veg room. And egging a few more weeks means likely double the need space( if the longer veg has the same effects as it did my most recent run) and anything to do with greenery is hardly considered work
