what up guys I have 5 plants total and 2 were originally clones in soil(source of aphids).

I'm 3 weeks into veg from clone and noticed aphids all over the roots on one plant so i just washed the roots and put it in soil outback. All the others seem to have only a handful of visible aphids on the roots(I digged into the hydroton a few inches and cant see eggs now), Im sure there's tons of hiding eggs waiting to hatch though.

I added gognats to each reservoir and I then used a coffee cup to drench the net pot 3 or 4 times each to get the mix in the hydroton and root area in the net pot. So any advice on what to do and how persistent i need to be in order to make sure these pest arent going to be around during flower.

Thanks gambler looked through everything last night good luck with your grow blue dream is great for scrog I've heard.

Ill proabably go pick some sm-90 up later today on account of the nasty cedar smell and buildup gognats creates(seems to be working though no aphids survived).

Gonats will work if you do it right. Just fill a bucket to almost to the top with water and put 1 tsp per gallon of Gonats in it. Put your net pot back in the bucket and it will flood your hydroton. Leave it for 30 mins and the live ones will die. Repeat again in a week after the eggs hatch and the should be gone. I've had a problem with hundreds of them on my roots and in my hydroton. I have 10 inch net pots too. In fact I ran my water hose over the top of the net pot to push as many of them out the bottom before I treated it with Gonats. I saw so many come out the bottom and they did so much damage to my roots that I was getting major root rot. After the treatment, about 2 weeks later all new roots started growing like crazy. Plant yielded 6 oz.
