I was using 25l pots for 3 years and at the end of the run the pot couldn't fit another root in the pot basically root bound so I doubled the pot size and at the end of the run the root ball was smaller than the small pots and basically 3/4 of coco had no roots

Did you change anything in your watering habits in conjunction with the increase in medium volume?

With coco, it seems you can get perfectly healthy monsters growing in small pots. I usually use 3gal cloth pots for soil, but I'm gonna go with 2gal hard pots in my first coco grow.
