Root bound problems

The thing is when I transplanted( veg. State) the earth was very hard (very hard would hold water and still not loosen up). I barley got room to mix a little potting soil and dug stem three inches. The small plant is in budding stage for 20 days with little buds and slow growth.

My question is..... Is there something special to do for root bound plants?

.... Don't expect miracles...... Just thought if you've had this issue what did u do or think to do is all. Thank u guy is advance.

Short of supplying them with the minerals and nutrition they need their is nothing you can do. Especially since its so late. Before your next grow you should aerate the dirt, or use more bag dirt.
