Root bound??

This is my first post on roll it up. I am on my second indoor soil grow and am loving it. Just a quick question. I believe this pic looks root bound, but I am seeing no signs except slight possible stunted growth. I am interested in any opinions. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. Next time would it be a good idea to transplant earlier, does this seem ideal, or is this more of an arbitrary issue?? Just wondering. And again I appreciate the reply.

You don't want to damage roots, so at least this way it comes out of the container easier, it holds the roots in place for when you transplant.

when u replant pry open the roots a little bit. its not root bound. i like to up pot at just about that time as in ur pic. nice lookin roots. i rarely see pix of roots ppl are too afraid of taking the plant out of its pot.

I don't see the circling going on except for maybe at the very bottom. I wouldn't call that rootbound either, The roots look nice and healthy and the timing seems pretty good for a transplant. As dannyboy stated pry those roots a little, you don't have to tear em, just jostle and pry a little.

Good Luck and Happy Growing!
