Root Excelurator or an DWC equivalent

I'm wondering if Root Excelurator can be used in DWC. I'm on my first grow and currently not using anything for my roots. I got a bottle of Great White (the powder) free at local hydro store. But when I use it it makes my roots kinda slimy and brown so I stopped using it. What do you guy and gals use for root health in DWC?

If going the beneficial bacteria route. How do I introduced the good bacteria? Is it as easy as adding a little sugar and Great White to fert mix?

Thanks for the recommendation. I've been adding 1-2ml of H2O2 per gallon every 3 to 5 days. I'm burning through it to quick I think.

As for water temp, it's ~71 in dark and ~73 when lights are on

this is my second grow using that southern ag. i'm in GH waterfarms that get up to grow room temps, mid 70's.

previously, i used HTH pool shock for a sterile res. it was easy to use too. and even cheaper.

I like the look of the waterfarms and price when more. I have a normal 5 gallon bucket with airstones. How you ever compared the 2 methods?

i have. i started with the 5 gal buckets. years later,, i'm back to dwc. i modified the waterfarms a bit. added an airstone. few other mods. now they work perfectly in my drain to waste, autofeed setup. i have a timer that feeds them once/day and all i have to do is change my res once/week. i like the top feed of the waterfarm when plants are small.

Sounds so simple and easy. I want to get the hang of things, like LSTing and nutrients, then start upgrading my grow space. How many plants do you usually have at a time? I'm trying to get a feel for how many I'd need for just me. I smoke ½-1 ounce a month.

i don't do any training. i let them grow as is. nutes are either GH floranova bloom or GH maxibloom.

i do 2 at a time and i've just finished setting up a veg tent so i can start 2 more and have them vegged to a decent height as the others finish and then they go in the bloom room. pretty much perpetual give or take. that setup should easily get you a oz a month. if you have leftovers, make hash or wax.

Hey so do you just mix it in with every nutrient change? I just got a bottle i'm wondering if it'll kill the nutrients or anything, this stuff looks serious.

i was doing hempy buckets drain to waste. medium is mix of growstones/hydroton

now i'm using GH waterfarms in drain to waste. same medium in upper part of waterfarm.

nutes are now GH maxibloom with bioag tm-7 as an additive. and the southern ag hydroguard copy for root care.

Ya I tried to find the SA up here and it was a ridiculous price when u recommended it a few weeks ago ...... fucking Canada :(. I may hit you up for tips if I go the DTW route ;). Still trying to figure out what to run as well :(.

I'm hoping to use some of the 20lb bag of hydroton I have but not sure what else, I also have a lot of perilite :).
