Root production on clones

I've cloned about 48/50 clones successively and I'm using rapid rooters with clonex and a humidity some. 18/6 lighting under 2 6500 24w t8's. Once rooted they are moved to a 4ft 8bulb 54w t8.

I normally only get 1-2 roots poking through the rapid rooter in about 7-10 days. Is there a way to get more root production? The most I've had were 4 root shoots poking out of the rapid rooter, but sometimes only one root
shoot.

Roots are cut with razor blade at 45 degree angle, cut 1/4 in vertically up the stem and swirled around in clonex for 45 seconds then placed into rapid rooter straight into some with high humidity.

Anthony I can do to increase root production?

Make shallow upward cut's with your blade if it were sideways it would look like this ))))))))) on @ least 4 sides. There are also trick's with light cycles to implement 24 hr's darkness to begin, 24 hr's light for first 4 day's after and then 18/6 to get the thick beansprout type root's by day 7.

Undisturbed and goodies like Thrive alive Red from Technafloura.Best soak ever.I'm trying new products lately.I'm 3 miles from the garden shop now and Money is eating holes in my pockets.Unless there is a chemical war I will have an epic summer grow this year.It got to 70 today in south texas.I dragged the Mom's that have just been growing wild in my other place in the growroom but my sis wasn't doing her job.So I'm having to get them used to this high wind area I'm in now. After they come out of the little shock I'll take some cuttings off of em I bet the stalks get huge with the wind I get here.Just a few goodies here though, going to go balls in out in the great outdoor's again with all the new cutting's. I have a good feelin...Peace

I hate to say this because I am a big fan of RR's but you need an aero cloner and just plain ass ph'd tapwater.

The roots I get in 7 days still amazes me, every time......scarification between the nodes was a very good tip as well!
Honestly though, you are having more success than most already...good-on-ya!

Like others have said, if you want to speed things up a little bit grab some rooting hormones - pretty much any brand (IBA and/or NAA active ingredients). But here's a pointer I just found out about: a lot of rooting hormone products contain an anti-fungal additive as well. Which is good for increasing success rates... but not so awesomely good if are using the product in starter plugs with beneficial fungi in it. Or, if you don't clean out the cloning area well before you add beneficial microbe products after roots start forming (such as in a bubble cloner).
