root stimulators, for clones???

On my second grow now, and working from clones this time. Today I bought "BIOBIZZ - Root Juice" but when I got home I had doubts as to weather or not it was the right stuff, and sure enough it says on line that it is for aready rooted plants.

So can someone recommend a root stimulator for new clones to stimulate the first roots???

I use clonex with root riot cubes, easily available if your in the uk from all growshops.

You can use the root juice when you pot up the clones into soil, but its not necessary.

I just got some of that new stuff Advanced Nutrients put out, "Juicy Roots".

I got big fat roots on my clones a lot quicker than usual so it looks like they're true to their word that they supercharged their original cloning gel.

I usually get pretty good results cloning, but this time I'm 20 out of 20 which is good even for me. Looks like I've got a new regular cloning gel.

How many days with the AN stuff mate?

i always use clonex and have no trouble you should stick to what you know new things can fuck your crop up

Yea i know mate il never change from clonex, and il never buy anything AN, just curious about the AN stuff, if its high price is justified in some way.

A couple of my recent clones 10days after cutting, using clonex and jiffy pellets, ive had faster with the root riots but id run out of em for this last lot.

Well I usually move them from my cloner to veg after 14 days so as long as things are looking good up top I don't usually pop the lid to look at what's going on underneath and I totally forgot about using the new cloning gel.

When I went to pull them to put them in veg they had crazy-long roots like if I'd left them in for several days longer than normal. I actually had two plants that were hard to separate which hasn't ever happened before.

Next batch I'll keep a closer eye on so I know exactly how much faster they're developing but judging from the root development I saw this time, I'm guessing somewhere around 20% ahead of what I was getting before. Maybe 11 days instead of 14?

Londoner - do you conver the Jiffy pellets with somehting to ensure light does not get to the bottom of the plant?

Do the Jiffy Pellets work better than rock wool. I would love to hear how often you have to water jiffy pellets ect when cloning plants.. thanks in advance for your input

i've had 100% success with stim-root. it's a powder. so easy and so effective.
