Hello, I hope this isn't too long winded but,
I have 3 plants in veg under a 150w hps with a mix of t5 & cfls, Kalashnikova, RP Sour Diesel & Tangelope. 2 of them are in 3 gallon smart pots and 1 is in a 2 gallon bag. They've been going for about a month and a few days, All of them are showing prefower pistils. The tangelope and SD aren't even that big but the nodes have been alternating since they were small. My plan is to grab a few cuts and turn one or 3 into a mother while the rest flowers, to start up a small perpetual grow. Thing is, i forgot to tag which is tangelope and which is SD. So the one I have pictured is the one i believe to be the sour diesel because the node space is so far apart. This may have been a bad idea, but I had all of these plants in a garbage bag for a week while watering to try to combat water leaking all into the grow space because I had no tray to use to collect drainage. I've noticed huge white roots growing out of the drain holes and even out of the smartpots. I have already transplanted them once and had not planned to transplant again, seeing im only looking to gain around or over 5-6 oz from this harvest and don't need them to be tall at all.
- The one I believe is SD(growbag) I'm looking to cut alot of these branches off and turn them into clones because of the crazy wide space between the nodes, ive grown plants like that all the way through and do not want to again, is that suggested?
- Should I worry about the roots or will they be air pruned? Even if the garbage bag is wrapped around them catching water.
I plan to use slightly bigger pots in the future but for now I'm just looking for suggestions.
Sorry for the long story, I probably added some unnecessary details.
