Roots left?

So my dad was growing weed in the basement and got busted. There are some leaves left and a few of the the roots with maybe a half inch of stem attached. Is there any way to get the plant to start growing again? Nothing is dried out but there isn't much of the stem.

I'm asking because I know, from experience, that you can do that with some plants. I'm not familiar with pot growing so I wouldn't know if it was possible or not.

And no I wouldn't do it anyway since I'm living with my grandma since my front door was busted in and doesn't shut thanks to the cops.

Yea, I'm gonna agree with the '1 in 1000 chance' idea. It's possible in theory, but very unlikely. Yea, it's a weed, and it'll grow in some shitty conditions, but it has its limits, ya know?

Thanks guys. I appreciate the advice and the sentiments. I wouldn't attempt to grow it now anyway since the cops can still come in and search (as well as anyone else since they broke the front door) but it was a thought and I figured maybe I could just put them outside in public land and see what happens.

Right now he's out on 25,000 bail. He had 24 plants but they're not sure how much pot till they dry it out. He said someone said he'd probably do 1-3 years but right now no one is sure.

They also decided to be total dicks and charge him with possession of fireworks because they found sparklers.

On the plus side I found some nice buds left on the floor haha.

Honestly I wouldn't even plant it outside. It's not worth the risk in the position you're already in, in my opinion. I'm glad to see you're rather upbeat about the whole situation. Hopefully he'll get the sentence reduced; our legal system is kind of a crap chute, ya just never really know.

Be real careful with that bud and anything else illegal, since as you mentioned the cops can come in and harass you more any time they want. And fucking sparklers? Man, that is some serious bullshit. Be careful man, stay safe.
