Roots out the bottom of

Never used autopots before but the roots are coming out of the bottom and turning brown dying etc is this normal cheers guys

I use a four pot wilma drip system when my plants get so big the roots come out the bottom of the pot and grow all over the tray and turn brown but the plants have always been healthy and grown just fine

Roots turn brown when exposed to light and air. Not to worry, they more than likely branched out,kinda like topping but for roots. This is called air pruning. Where the one root tip was, now there are two!
