RUCKUS, anyone know where to get a free email ending in EDU?

you get free music unlimited downloads, legally, on ruckus.com if your a college student with a student account....i was wondering if anyone knew where to get a free student email account, you need the account so you can activate your ruckus after them sending an activation link.

i know you can buy it but how? i'll have to look more close, get back to me on that just incase i don't find it....everything i seen was free for college students and that's it.

i looked all over the website and didnt find anything. seems like youre fairly screwed unless you know someone who works in an IT department at a college(i bet someone on here is). The only thing i could find was an option for alumni but they still send a confirmation email to your school address

There is a way

Grab a .edu domain and pop3 mail thou it to your normal email account It would only cost a few $ to get the domain name

what i said was bull(like...that sucks), but to the other guy...how do i do that, don't really know how or what your really saying.

sorry I was actually mistaken you would need a host to rout the mail though as well as the domain I just went and looked it back up but essantialy what it is

You use a domain name (www.gfvnwo.edu) to rout the email though for example when I receive company though madmaty@************.com it auto routs it into my hotmail email then I can read it there however to everyone else my email is madmaty@************.com only the site knows its a "false" email tho there are A LOT of cheap/free places to park a domain witch you could use you would only need it to recive the confirm email though it so you would only need it for 1 month average cost would be like $10-$15 to gain your free unlimited service

Unfortunately this is a good idea but it wont work for Ruckus. when i was looking around the Ruckus website i found out that you have to have a registered email address at a college that is partnered with ruckus. here is a list of the affiliated schools: Ruckus - Millions of Free & Legal Music Tracks for college students!

yeah and i just noticed that .edu is a top level domain so you cant buy one anyway sorry man maybe you can find someone who goes to one of them who will let you use their account

but can't you also write down a school? how would i pirate? wouldn't i still need my own email addy?

umm you have to contact ruckus to get them to add your school.
I meant pirate like use another program to get your music that isnt quite as legal as ruckus
