I couldn't get to my timer so I bought another one, different from the one I normally use. I didn't see the little slider that turns it from "ON" to "Timer". My intent was to get these established with good roots and then lollipop them when they got about 14" tall. Well, the plans of mice and men... I flipped them but then no buds after a couple of weeks, so I dialed back the timer to 10 hours of light. Still no buds after another couple of weeks and the plants are totally out of control. These are clones (about 46 of them) of some Colombian Gold landrace plants (pure sativa) that I grew outdoors this year. I finally discovered the problem (operator error) when I gave the timer a good looking over. So now I have tiny buds coming on but, as you can see, they're way too tall. I've never had this problem, so I'm not sure what to do. I really hate to toss them since they're doing so well, even though some of you are probably gnawing your tongues because of how crowded they are. It wasn't supposed to be like this. So, I'm down with the "lessons learned", and the "note to self" things; I just want to get through this. I'm doing the Kratky method with no water pump and no air pump. 3/4" plywood box with heavy plastic liner and LED lights, and air conditioning. I think I need to lower the PH because I see some calcium deficiency here and there but I know the flowering nutes have all they need, so I'm calling this "lockout".
