I've got a 4x48" t5 HO fixture and I've got 15 plants under it. They are still, all but one, under 8" tall but I'm running out of room extremely fast in my grow area. They're getting too wide and now im realizing 15 plants may have been too many.has anyone dealt with this issue before or know a way to resolve. Thanks. Happy smoking.:o

Thin them out, you could give them to friends who are growing, but that may be risky, or make space somehow. Who knows, half of them might turn out to be males anyway. I always plant twice of what I grow, as experience tells me a good percentage turn out to be males.

Farfennugen is exactly right. Just keep the light high enough so all the plants get enough light. I have the exact same lights and reguardless as to what people say, you dont have to keep a T5 light that close to your plants. Anyway the chances of you having 15 females are slim to none (but not impossible.....LOL).You will probably end up with atleast 7 females and thats a good turn out. DO NOT trash anything until you sex them. Good luck.:weed:

If they r fem seeds or clones ur in a bunch of trouble if ur running out of room allready, but if their reg seeds then flip the light and find the males and seee where ur at...GL

The higher the light goes the less light will ultimately reach the plants (it gets less intense). In my experience you really do have to keep the fixture as close as possible. If you don't the plants are going to stretch, and that'll compound the issue.

Oh Hell no I'm not trashing anything. They're starting to overlap and the leaves are resting on each other. Is that cool?
