Hello growers of the world , CG is here:leaf:

so im waterin my babe with bio nova fert's , and the ph is pretty neutral..somewhere between 6.3-7.0
when i check my runoff ph - it's 4.4-4.7 , whaaat ?

anyway , i called to the hydro store guy , whos an old time grower ,
i told him :"i bought a soil from you the other day and the ph is crazy ",
he said -" runoff ph ? you cant control ph on soil , it's for hydro, the soil acidity can be one day 7.0 one day 5.0 , you cant really control it "
i asked :"so what for we have the ph up & ph down ?"
he
answered:" for the water solution with the fert's - if that too high or too low , but in the soil you cant do shit.but dont worry about it , its insignificant."
i said :"so i wouldnt have ph problem cause of that ? im countin on ya ! " ,
he said: " yes , nothing to worrie about ".

what do you growers of the world think ?

I agree.

There are so many unknowns that go on inside your soil (i.e microbial activity) that using runoff to diagnose plant problems is , well, problematic in my view.

I make sure the nutrients I pour in are PH'd correctly and don't worry about the rest.
