ID just water them by hand, you have no perlite in there and in my opinion, its the wrong growing medium for flood n drain. id use a heavyer growing medium or rockwall for flood n drain. But im an organic outdoor grower, so others may have a better take on it. go go

Fully agree.

Plus paper cups in flood and drain? Its dry as hell on the top too. Coco should not be dry.

Set up an automated drip feed instead or change to hydroton and proper pots that can actually take the water in.

Perlite is needed in your coco when you transplant. You can transplant now.
Wrong medium for flood and drain.
Coco is drain to waste hydroponics........feed from the top.
what did the roots look like? I imagine once it got a little bigger or transplanted and some more rootmass it stopped drooping?

You dont "need" perlite although some doesn't hurt for sure.
you can totally run flood and drain coco that just isnt true its the wrong medium.
I still do flood and drain for veg in some spots
my flower I have mostly all drip but flood works fine.... this guy has a good system, and all he does is flood and drain coco
