Hi Everybody!
I was wondering if any of you guys are familiar with the politics and legality of MMJ in San Diego county.
I am a recent transplant to North County, from Fla, and I just started a garden. I am interested in remaining within the law (at least state law) and was wondering if there are any tips on how to find qualified patients to be a caregiver for, are there any channels for connecting directly with patients (besides craigslist...)?
*I know that for any patient I decide to take on I must have them sign paperwork stating I'm their only source and to comply w. law and all that good stuff, and to always verify their recommendation.
I am also interested in working with dispensaries (although I would much rather work directly with patient and I know Mayor Filner is fighting for patient's rights (for now at least, and more dispensaries will probably start to open up. Does anyone from the area have experience working with a dispensary and could share it?
Or has anyone ran a delivery service in SD? What do you have to do to keep it legal? Do you have to pay tax? is so, how?
I'd also like to know, from a patients perspective, what I could do to make myself available to patients in the area.
Since I recently moved here, my network is kind of small so I don't really know who to trust....
What is the best way to build a relationship with a dispensary (or patient) without having to risk any of your meds, money, or time?
Thanks Guys!!!
One Love
