Hey all,
So I am quite a ways into my second ever grow, decided to stick with the Easy ryder from the first as it was such a success, but this time I also added in some Diesel Ryers.
The Easy's are on just over 8 weeks from seed and smelling fantastic, if you've grown it then you know it has an almost candy type smell to it, sugary and slightly strawberry. The question pertains to the Diesel though, one of them is currently on 7 weeks, and where as the Easy ryders started to smell from week 5-6ish, the Diesel just doesn't seem to be doing anything, and this is from a plant some peopel say is the stinkiest they've ever grown.
I'm wondering if the phenotype has something to do with it? It is very very obviously Sativa dominant, Long buds, almost as if the entire central stem/branches are just solid long buds, but right now (week 7) there's no obvious smell and absolutely no trichomes as far as I can see.
With it being a seemingly heavily sativa dominant pheno, will it take a much longer time to mature then? and thus a longer time to start to smell/produce trichomes?
