Save the strain

i have a few strains i do not want to lose. problem is all are towards the end of the flowering stage and i was wondering what the best method is for saving the strain. I've heard you can take the top 2/3 of the plant, put whats left back under haldide at 18 and it will reveg. True ???? Also told i can take a lower limb that budded and clone it...true ???? Any help would be greatly appreciated, these are beautiful baby girls.

I leave on some of the small lower buds and as much foliage as possible, and put under 24 hour light. They reveg in between two weeks and a month.

took cuttings from my favorite babies, all of them in the 8th week of flower, used "miracle grow" fast root and 13 days later.......time to go to the 8" cubes. Never woulda thunk they would actually root considering my luck with cloning and the advanced stage of my babies,. BUT.......It's gonna be Pakistan Valley and Ketama Xoen for at least a while longer. Im in the same boat. Im gona take some cuttings and try to reveg it. One should work.

yes yes take cuttings...if ya want you can try'n reveg it jus harvest gently..and send ii a clone...lol
