Saving pollen

got a cracking male that's two days into flower, I also have a seedling female that just two days old (both autos) I'm wondering how long I can keep them both in the same tent together, I don't want to contaminate this female but I want to save some pollen from this male and he isn't ready to get pollen from yet. What's the best method for extracting the pollen and storing it ? Also when Should I get Him out of the tent I want to have him as mature as possible to get the best pollen ? But don't want to risk contaminating this young female.

I would get them separated ASAP. When a male starts poppin' that shit gets everywhere.
I would think the best way to collect the pollen would be to put a bag over the whole plant, flip it upside down, and shake-shake-shake. I have never collected pollen but that is how I would do it. I left a male in the tent a little too long one time - pollen everywhere!

When the boy parts are formed completely cut the branches off and put them in a glass of water or thin vase. Put foil under the vase and wait. The sacs open and pollen falls onto the foil. Collect it when its all done falling and you shook the dead branches a bit. A good spot to do it is the top of a closet where theres no breeze. Id get the boy plants out and in a different place as soon as possible. Theyll keep producing male parts even if theyre not under a 1000 watts.
