Was just thinking the same thought, I've been eyeing up this one http://shoponspot.com/digital-precision-scale-20g-max-0001g-resolution/uk/

it's basically the cheapest 0.001g scale i found
When dealing with research chemicals especially ones you're gonna be consuming yourself, never risk it with the cheapest mg scale... purchase ones that has a decent representation and is the median price! But a 0.01 scale is good to weight out 2c's... anything that is the the 1mg like BROMO and such purchase a 0.001g as stated above.

To be honest Endangered, it would depend on the tolerance on a .01g scale. Are we talking about +/- 10mg, 5mg, etc? You could easily have a significantly rougher trip playing around with the dosage like that (granted for the 2c-x's it's probably not dangerous, but it is nice to be accurate). I would go with a .001g scale and a +/- 1mg or AT MOST +/- 2mg's.

To the O.P. you can always check ebay?
