Scog looks like a joke? Putting a screen net over it makes it super grow and is the best? don't quite think so...

What ScrOG (short for Screen Of Green) does is provide a uniform, efficient canopy with a low plant count. It isn't magical Super Grow but a form of training, like we do with tomatoes. It does not affect bud quality, but is intended to provide best return for a hobbyist grow setup. Somebody's been telling you self-aggrandizing propaganda. cn

scrogggin' is fun..........for advanced growers:) who need more. genos/strains are able to put out so much bud per area.......period. scroggin'.......lst.......'croppin' .......all ways to get close to this limit. i like the bud size i get by scroggin' and i have BEAT what reviews say about yield, so try it before you criticize. It is awesome and does help the grow and provides for great bud structure and quantity. Bud quality should be even with the same strain grown otherwise. cn

i wasn't criticizing? i asked a question i wrote "think" as in to the point of my knowledge
It's a horizontal trellis. It allows the plant's branches to be trained across a horizontal plane for good fill and distribution of the lighted space. There must be a hundred thousand tutorials on Google; if you read a couple, the mystery should go away. cn
