Scrog chopping

Hi everyone, long time lurker first time poster, so i know there is gonna be some:wall::wall: looking at what your gonna see. But hear me out. Ok so basically my question is this, can I cut down all that’s above the screen so far. And let it re grow or would that be detrimental too the plant? As you can see out of the 4 one is growing incredibly faster than the rest and im afraid I have to flip the lights early is there any advise anyone can give?

It looks like you need to reset in there. They all appear to be suffering some kind of problem, large plant included.

Personally, i would ditch the small really unhealthy ones and fill out the tent with the bigger less sick one.
Good luck

I Doooo, but refuse to set it up because of the co2 running. I managed to seal the tent. Butttttttt don’t have a mini split :wall: and the water chiller can’t keep up with 30 gallons. 1/10hp Ain’t shit:(

What is this obsession many have with CO2? It's worthless when you let your plants get like that. It's the last thing you should be bothering with. The 124° temps including the 89° water are much more important to deal with than wasting CO2. And how are you getting your CO2? If you're using those bags then you're just wasting money.

Good luck.

well initially temps never got that high, I would touch 96 at worst but normally wouldn’t go past 90 Out of the blue it would hit that high and stay.. Great question and to answer that, the obsession is everyone wants to achieve the best results they can and help their plants thrive, but then you get told well they NEED co2 every thread u get to someone is saying it. Even the light I’m using has co2 in the name :wall:. Just got hustled like everyone else ‍♂.Lastly, fuckkkk no I NEVER trusted the bags I just use a tank.

You might want to get the plant growing part down before you add the very last of the bells and whistles.

you do have some form of air exchange going on, yes?
I mean it’s growing just fine, I’m not having an issue with growth I’m having an issue with how fast one is growing.

Any reason you’re running co2 in a dinky tent?

It’s obviously hurting more than helping at this point
if you mean dinky as in small, I was not aware that the size of the space mattered:( I was just under the impression that it would help so long as you could keep it sealed. I haven’t seen evidence that the co2 is hurting them only issues with water and air temp.

and thats not a problem?

yes it is! However ik how to solve both of those problems. The problem I donttttt know how to solve is whether or not I can cut out what’s grown through the screen so far and it still regrow back while I give the others the time to catch up, or will that big of a chop cause it too hermi or give up completely.

The temps and other factors are going to cause it to hermie I wouldn’t worry to much about chopping the tops off. Why not just strip the bottom and flip it and let the tops grow and harvest those if there any good.124 degrees is crazy and 90 degree water to the roots that’s like drinking boiling water while you wait for the car to pick you up in the Sahara

I'd say raise the smaller plants but that's not possible.

You really need to start venting the tent and lowering the heat.

Yea because you have a sealed tent and can't manage the environment correctly. Co2 isn't the issue but your insistence to run it is.

That big one is a trooper to survive in those conditions.
the big one is the most confusing because it’s seemingly thriving on those conditions, when it initially sprouted it’s leaves were disfigured spindly honestly I thought it was gonna have to get tossed but for whatever reason it’s growing the best.
