Scrog help? Easy question

Im doing a scrog and was wondering if the height of the screen affects yield? Im growing an indica dominant strain under a 600w mh/hps. Will i get a larger yield if i put it at 16"-18" then if i put it at 12"-14"?

anyone???? im at the point where i need to make a decision on the height but want to hear from some experienced growers.

Never done that before but I am sure if you google it you could find info on it.

I place my screen about 12" high w/ mostly Indica strains.

This guy was pretty successful, was growing in a mini fridge and had the problem of space. He kept it relitivley close to the top of the soil. He yielded something like 3 ounces but he was also using a hydro system. I am planning on doing a similar setup with the screen as close as i can get it to the top of the container im using to grow in.

Sure, your plant would be that much taller, doubt you'll ever notice.

But in a SCROG, the whole purpose of the screen (IMO) is to have it @ a certain height (i use 1/3 of usable space) train the plant under it, slowing down the big sites, allowing the smaller ones to catch up. And then allowing the smaller sites up through the screen. Then start 12/12 when you have all of the sites you can get through. You will find your own variation, there are tons.

Clone/Cut the rest, it will just die from shade poison, lol.
