Ok New grower here ( matter of fact going to pop my seeds this week ( super lemon haze, Buddah cheese, and moby dick <--- free seeds from seed co). Ok I was thinking of a low stress way to prepare my ladies for a scrog. So grab a seat, you favorite medicine delivery aparatus and let me lay it on ya.....
Now imagine if you will ( Warning you may need to be really stoned for this )
My idea:
1. Build a frame ( 3ft long x 3ft wide x 4 inches tall)
2. Purchase 2 pieses of thick untreated glass with same dimensions as above
3. Place 1st piece of glass in frame.
4. Place second piece of glass in frame (leaving a a 3 1/2 inch gap between glass.
5. Cut 2 intake holes on one side of frame
6. cut 2 exhaust holes on other side of frame
7. Purchase 2 computer fans (prob 120 mm)
8. Mount fans on frame blowing into the gap (these will be used to cool glass closest to plants)
9. exhaust hot air trapped between palnes out of box using small flex pipe.
10. seal box
11. Mount box at a slight angle in veg box (aprox 2 inch rise)
12. veg my ladies under the glass letting them grow up to the glass.
Now in theory, when the plants grow up to the glass the will follow the path of least resistance and grow horizantly until they are ready to flower at which point remove the glass encloser and replace it with a screen. Now grow your scrogg normaly.
This should eliviate stressing the plant due to bending and such.
What do you guys think? would this work? what problems would you forsee with this? I have not tried this yet.
Disclaimer: I was REALLY REALLY STONED when I came up with this.
